HEY everyone!!

This week was super awesome!!:) We had the chance to hear from Russel M. Nielson! he came to our mission and talked to us. It was amazing to feel the spirit when he walked into the room. He gave us an amazing talk.:)

well i am loving my mission. theres something about black hair and brown eyes that will always have a place in my heart! please pray for the people here in mexico in my area! i love you all so much! have an awesome week!:)

Hola everyone I hope you all had a good thanksgiving and remembered everything to be grateful for. Christmas is approaching everyone go to www.christmas.mormon.org and watch the video!!:) It will put you in the holiday spirit!! i cried. haha

This thanksgiving was a little different being without my family and friends. But we have a really good bishop in our ward and he made me a thanksgiving dinner!! with actual turkey and potatoes and everything!!:) I tasted home for the first time in 6 months! haha i still really like tortillas and peppers though!! haha 

Last monday we helped a member put of her tree!!:) it was fun!! i thought of everyone putting up there trees and going black friday shopping! i hope your found a lot of good deals!:) 

I am grateful for you all in my life and everything that you all have done for me!!!!!!

Hola everyone,

Not much happened this week! we have been giving service to members here in my ward that litterally have NOTHING and there living conditions are unbeleiveable!! they dont have water to shower iwth or food to eat. We gave them 4 apples and they almost cried cuz they were soooo happy to recieve just 4 apples! I love these people soo much and they are very special to me! please keep them in your prayers!

I am also teaching a brother that was addicted to drugs and achohol for 13 years of his life, he is trying to turn is life around right now. please pray for him as well!!:)

This week me and my comp put up our little christmas tree and today we are going to put up another one with a member in her house!!

this week is thanksgiving and i just want to thank everyone that is in my life, you all are truly all blessings! we are blessed to live where we live and to have the things we have. The people here are truly happy, they have the faith that sometimes we lack.Sometimes its hard our life isnt easy we go through things that sometimes we dont know why but if you think about it we arent the only ones that have gone through it. We have a savior that has felt everything and more that we feel.

HOLA mis amigos!!:)

here are a few stories for ya if ya care to read them:)

Last P day we went to walmart and we invited one of our investigators (Rosa) to come with us! Rosa's baptism is on SATURDAY and I am soooo excited. Anyways, it was her very first time seeing a walmart and going inside. haha I cried in the middle of walmart cuz it reminded me of everyone back at home! miss you all!:)

some words of advice... 

do not eat a lot of jalepenos and then put on the stinging chapstick! your lips will die! haha

This week I gave a talk in sacrament it was my second talk I have given in sacrament since i have been here! I really hope at least one person understood what i was saying!

so.... last week i got this really good idea to make banana pancakes! So me and hna. castillo went to the store under our house and baught bananas. we put them on a plate on top of our microwave. (our microwave is on a table) Then the next day i noticed that 1/4 of one banana was eaten. so, im like that's weird why would my comp. only eat 1/4 of a banana!?! Then 5 minutes later my comp. asks me "Why did you not eat the whole banana?" Im like i thought that was you! then we both look on the ground and see rat poop all over the floor! we looked all over for that rat and we couldn't find it. THEN this morning when we were sleeping we hear this water bottle hit the floor, we hurry and turn on the light and see this HUGE rat run under our door. i wanted to cry! we are yet to catch the rat and we're both terrified!! haha 

My comp. looks at me one day and says "its going to air a lot today so we have to be careful! For the next 5 minutes i figuring out that "air" really means wind! haha

On friday we have a huge missionary ward activity at the church me and my comp. stood outside the church and invited people to come in! in each room the ward had a display! in our room we  made a huge plan of salvation and had treats. we talked to 73 people! 

As missionaries are taught to always invite people to do things, not to go all missionary on you all, but you should go read a talk by jeffery r. holland called "Remember Lot's Wife" it is so good!

hola!!!!

how is everyone doing?? 

this week a member asked us to wear white shirts and black skirts because she wanted us to sing in sacrament! haha turns out she just made it up so the missionaries were matching yesterday! haha The sad thing is this is the least embarrassing thing that has happened all week! haha i will learn espanol one day!

a couple days ago we were teaching a family and after we walked over to a different house and the kids all followed us over there. The house we were at has a lot of untrustable men (I always feel safe, but its just not a good place for kids) anyways the mom walks over to the house and starts yelling at the kids to get home. then all of the sudden she starts chucking rocks AT HER KIDS!!!! then the next day her kid was playing with a macheti and she grabs the knife out of her child's hand and chucks it at a horse! luckily it missed the horse and my comp! ahah craziness!!

One of my investigators cant say my name cuz he had speech problems so he calls me hermana froski! its the best!

well not too much happened this week!! hope all is dong well!!

hola everyone!!

last week i traveled to Guadalajara again so i didnt get to write!!

Last week i went on exchanges with the sister training leader! and an investigator gave me an umbrela! the people here are so nice! she had no idea who i was and she gave me an umbrella for the rain.

haha my water decided not to turn on for three days so me and my comp took bucket showers! I will never be clean here!!:)

me and my companion were sitting waiting for pizza to be done because a member gave us money instead of feeding us, and a drunk man comes over to us and tries to sit on me!!! haha i hurry and jump up! then i started teaching him about the word of wisdom. I gave him a pamphlet about it and he starts kissing the pamphlet!! hahaha me and hna. castillo died of laughter!!!

one of my investigators Vanessa asked me if i wanted to drink her turtle egg! people drink turtle eggs here! ewwwww

Pamela a member, made american food for me! i wanted to cry! it was SOOOO good! she made union rings and hamburgers!!

one of our investgiators hernesto has 13 earrings on one ear! he was wearing a necklace with a huge tooth on it and he comes up to me in a lesson and says 

I know you are really smart and you study a lot so do you know what animal this tooth came from?? hahah i was like umm... i study the bible and the book of mormon!! haha next time i see him ill just tell him it was a tiger or something!! haha oh hernesto.

This man was very sad and he starts talking to us he started telling us that he is an alcholic beacuse is daughter was murdered! it was very sad we taught him about the plan of salvation and how one day he will see his daughter again! 

The police here drive around in big trucks and carry big big big guns! they all wear bullet proof vests and helmets! anyways they all have very serious looks on there face and today one of them smiled and waved to me!! i was sooo happpy!! haha i finally got one of them to smile at me!!

I love the children here soooooo sooooooo soooooo much!! I taught them how to give pinkey promises and they all promised me to go to church with me!

anwyays sorry this email is so long! i love love love love being a missionary! i love the people here!! i love the gospel and i know it is true!!

also, Angelica gave us a hamick!! we are sooo excited to put it up!!

Wow!! How is everyone?!?!

FIRST THINGS FIRST: we had a baptism on Saturday!! Hermano Carlos was my first baptism!!!!

it´s been a crazy week!! Last week I had to travel to Guadalajara to sign my visa! It takes 8 hours to get there so we traveled on Sunday and then signed it on Monday! On the way back they closed the road to the guacamayas so we had to stay over night with the hermanas in Uraoapan!! haha long story short ME AND H. DUBBS WERE REUNITED! 

hahaha this guy asked me to be his boyfriend while i was on my mission! i told him no so then he sang me a song about my eyes! haha 

we were going to teach a lesson to Angelica a recent convert and we were knocking on her door a grown women walks up to me and says ¨a witch lives there¨  I never realized taht I loved the people here until that women said that! I should´ve went and taught her cuz clearly she´s the one that needs Christ in her life! I love hermana Angelica!!

Sometimes I¨m walking in the streets and i don´t know it´s tears or sweat dripping down my face! hahaha sometimes you walk clear across your area to find a house and it takes forever and you finally find it and they´re not home. haha or they say ¨nobody´s home¨haha i may be a missionary but i´m not stupid! but then that one investigator that read just 1 verse in el libro de mormon makes it all worth it!

Our ward mission leader is 95 years old, and he walks faster then me! He is very nice one day I was sick, (probably cuz of the chicken foot in my soup) and he bought me coconut water! 

We have a baptism scheduled for this Saturday! her name is Claudia! She is soooo good she always reads the el libroe de mormon and comes to church and her husband is a recent convert! But she is very very nervous! please pray for her:)

This mission is the hardest thing i´ve ever done but it´s impossible not to be happy here! haha sometimes i´m having a hard time and then the little kids yell ¨HERMANAS¨ and run up to me and give me a hug!! and it makes eveverything all better! i love it here!:)

we got three new baptismal dates this week!! I´m soooo happy about that!! my investigators are doing great and I´m doing great!! life is happy!!!

Hola!!!! how was the fourth of July??

well this week i got an infection in my feet from the mesquitoes so I couldn{t go out for 3 days then for 5 days i could only go to eating appoitments. everyone be thankful for the doctors in USA!! haha it was crazy being in the doctors and not knowing anything that was going on ugh!! it was so frusterating! but i am right back in action!! I know that i was given that trial for a reason!

haha we have three baptism dates for the 19 of July so pray that they will all follow through! haha

This week i found out that GIANT pigs live here in the wilderness!! ya i know terrifying! haha

haha the doctor told me i had to wear socks with my dress and shoes, haha might as well give the people here an actual reason to stare! hahahahahahah

an investigator Jairo hates me cuz i wear my hair on the top of my head!! hah but the feelings are mutual cuz he lied to me and told me he would come to church and didn{t come!! haha just kidding.

my no carbonation streak is over!!! so sad!!!

it is very humbling to be here, the people here have absolutely nothing and everyone is still so happy!! we are teaching a women here and she lives in a little hut. she used wood boards in a circle for walls, and a fire to make food. she doesn{t even have a bed!! she is very happy though!

first week!

HOLA!!!!!!!!!!!

How is everyone doing??

How this has been the craziest adventure of my life!!! haha after traveling for almost 24 hours from plane delays I finally made it to guadalajara. we got in and got to sleep for 4 hours and then woke up. and President Camarillo gave us our areas and companions and off we went.

My companera is Hermana Castillo. She is from Cihuaha Mexico. She is very very very nice and helps me ATON!! She can speak English but doesn{t use it very often:)

My area is the Guacamayas. It is a very poor area. In the little neighborhoods the kids run around most in underwear and only have a doll or soccor ball. the houses here are the size of my room in Centerville. They all have dirt floors and if they have a roof it is made of a tarp.

There are so so so so so many dogs here. They just run around wild haha at first i was terrified of them. But i have gotten used to them.

There are NO driving rules here whatsoever!!!!! haha haha the people don{t stop for you so we are always running to get out of the way. haha everyone just honks. 

Everyone here stares and me. sometimes the little girls here come and touch me with wide eyes. Everyone else just stares at me!! and the men whistle and yell things. I always ask my companera what they are saying but she never tells me. haha 

my house is one big room. there is a very some toilet and shower then there is a little station to handwash our clothes and dishes. we also just hang our clothes on a giant clothes line that we strung across our house. it is SOOOOOOO HOT here!! everyone is constatly dripping in sweat! haha also i literally have 53 mesquito bites on my legs.!!

This is super hard, and i have no idea what people are saying, but there is no place i would rather be!! Thanks for all the prayers. i love you all

HOLA!!! how is everyone doing??

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!! love you with all my heart dad!:) Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY B-RAIN!!!!

I'm sad to hear the Spurs won it all!:/ I was really hopin LJ king would get another one! 

I cannot believe that i'm leaving for the MTC on MONDAY, it has gone by so fast!! Plus i really like it here! (minus the food) haha 

hmm.. nothing too exciting happend this week! Since school got out the number of missionaries has grown SO much, i'm excited to get outta here and beat the rush though:)

I'm very sad to be leaving my progressing investigators Jose and Hely, I have already grown to love them!! As well as my teachers Hermana Luna and Hermano Martinez! And i'm terrified to leave my hermanas! 

On Tuesday M. Russel Ballard came! he gave an amazing talk!!!!!!!:)

haha H. Dubbs got really excited and was jumping in our apartment and completely ripped her skirt! hahaha so funny!

I'm super busy this week! next time i email i'll be in Mexico!! CRAZY LOCO!!!

anyways, i love all you very much and pray for you everyday!! Pray for me this week i'm gonna need it!:) The church is true I know it with all my heart!!

Week #4

Hola:)

Happy birthday to my dad this week!!:)

How is everyone?? This week has gone by SOOOO fast. I cannot believe that i'm almost gonna be leaving the MTC! I actually reallly love it here:) how is everyone doing??

This Sunday Quinton L. Cook came and talked to us! He told us that we could do hard things and not to give up! the devotionals always seem to help!

This week I saw TONS of people I know, Elder Jordan Cruz, Elder Josh Anderson, Sister Kelsey Layton, Elder Tanner Luke, Elder Brandan Kasperian, and Elder Travis Henderson!:)

My H. Bey chipped a tooth and so we had to go to the dentist! it was pretty fun to get outta the MTC! It's weird surrounding myself with people in the real world and not just missionaries! haha 

Guess what??:( my investigator Hely got an infection in her leg and was in the hospital so we haven't been able to teach her. everyone pray for her to get better! She's prime. But my other investigator Sandra is committed to baptism so that's way awesome!

haha funny story so our zone plays volleyball together! it's way fun and a lot of times we almost get kicked out for being too competitive! But anyways Elder Bowers (we call him elder Goleth) because he's like 7 feet tall. Serves WAYYY fast and it's terrifying! Well, he serves it right to H. Dubbs (hermana White) and hits her right in the face!!!!!

 hahahahhahahaha it was so funny! i cried

if any of you are looking for a good documentary to watch go and watch "the life of Thomas S. Monson" (mal) it is sooo good!!

My branch president got released this Sunday, I loved that man! But i know our new one will be amazing too!

Hermana Fogle is having ankle issues and if they don't get better she will have to stay at the MTC and go to physical therapy and maybe get surgery! Please pray for her as well:)

I met one of my favorite bloggers here at the MTC!:)

Anyways, the MTC is flying by!! it's kinda sad because i have grown to love it!!:) I leave for Mexico WAY soon! haha i'm sooo excited!

Week#3

(06/05/14)

HEY!! wow the mtc is seriously FLYING by!

all the days mush together here so i'm just gonna go through some highlights this week!

#1: my comp got super sick and we had to go to the doctor so that got me out of spanish class! haha she had to get a shot so we were there for TWO hours! haha i felt so bad cuz i could just see how sick she was.

#2 WE GOT A NEW INVESTIGATOR!! her name is Hely! Me and H. Bey honestly cannot figure out if she is a member or not! haha but anyways the BEST thing EVER happened! So we were having a conversation with Hely and she asked a question i didn't really know the answer to. then all of the sudden my voice just started speaking! it wasn't me talking though. All the sudden i looked up and just saw Hely and my comp BAWLING! I honestly don'e know what i was saying, but that doesn't matter because i know that Hely felt the spirit. and that's all that matters:) the gift of tongues is real.

#3 I had to take a test in spanish and it was the hardest thing ever! i got second best in my classe though so that's good!

#4 i taught my teachers ballet and it was probably the funniest thing that has happend all week:)

#5 i'm tooo competitive for the MTC, we were playing volleyball and Hermana White hits it and then falls to the ground so then i run over and yell "MOVE" and then the ball hits her in the face!! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA i love hermana white! she's the greatest!! hahahhahaha yesterday hermana white wore two bras on accident cuz she forgot to take one off at gym! the whole day she was complaining that her boobs hurt!! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH everyone thinks we're the weirdest! too funny!! oh and she spilled her water ALL over the salad bar and i just couldn't stop laughing and the workers got SOOOOO mad!! hahah and we have this really short teacher that looks like an elder so she started talking to him in espanol (we're supposed to be examples and ALWAYS speak in spanish) so she starts talking to the teacher and he starts speaking fluent spanish and was like "well, you've been here for a day and speak better spanish then me and walks away! HAHAHAH SO FUNNY

#6 we got ANOTHER new zone!! they're cute one lived in NYC and i want her life.

#7 in testimony meeting one hermana bore her testimony and she said that a couple weeks before she got her call her mom got diagnosed with brain cancer, the doctors gave her 1-2 years to live. After praying long and hard she new it was right to still serve a mission! i can't even imagine what she is going through. I look up to her so much for being here right now.

#8 me and my comp sleep on the couch every night cuz it's 100003046512301301 time more comfortable then our beds.

#9 the food is destroying my body

#10 i love being here!! i love my zone! the spanish is coming along!!

Week #2 (sorry it's kinda long) xoxo

hey!! Welcome to the MTC when the days feel like weeks and the weeks feel like days!:)

Guess what?? it's the first time in church history that there are 51% sister missionaries and 49% elders!! HERMANAS REPRESENT! I'm doing great!! I got called to be the new Sister Training leader in my zone, so that is fun!!:)

Thursday: I went to the temple and i just love the temple so much! it was way funnnn

Friday: Was kinda hard and i had a little melt down in front of my teacher! haha it was so embarassing he gave me tissues though and picked up all the snotty ones for me!! haha i'm good now though so no worries!! haha my teachers are the best!:)

Saturday: Nothing too exciting happened! just study study study:) oh but i was teaching a lesson and my investigator pretty much just told me and my comp that the BOM contradicted itself and i didn't know how to respond in spanish! (or english for that matter) haha so there was a long moment of silence and my and my sweet comp just stared at each other! HAHA 

Sunday: I got called as the sister training leader! it was a huge blessing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then i had to give a lesson to my brand presidency and zone! it went well! i love sundays here!! 

Monday: HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!! So on Monday's we go to the TRC and we give lessons to members in spanish and the old lady we taught was like 65! i asked her why she learned spanish and she said that someone gave her a blessing cuz she was having trouble with her kids. and in the blessing it just randomly said to learn spanish!! haha if she has enough faith to learn spanish because it was in a blessing, i can learn spanish to serve a mission!! haha i love that women i hope i get to say bye to her before i leave. 

Tuesday:MY VISA PAPERS CAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got to go to SLC and i heard real music! haha it was awesome to see the real world!!! it was right by the Bee's stadium and it reminded me of all the fun times me and my friends would go watch baseball and the fireworks!!:)

Wednesday: well in the morning my companion got super sick so she took a nap and i studied the first vision! then we had to go to the doctors and we were there for TWO hours! haha so i just gotta a little break from class and i tried to memorize the first vision and it was freaking hard! haha then the new hermanas cameso i got to give them an orientation and give them a tour of the campus! Our zone got 4 new hermanas and 2 new elders! it was fun to meet them!:)

Today i getta go to the temple! i'm so excited:) Sorry my emails are so long i just don't wanna leave anything out! i love you all sooo much! have an awesome week!! WRITE ME A LETTER!:)

MY FIRST WEEK IN THE MTC!:) (sorry it's SO long)

Hey everyone!!!:)
First off i just wanna say thanks to everyone for sending all the mail and emails! haha everyone in my district is jealous of me cuz i get the most! LOVE YOU GUYS!

So it was a really bad idea to get into the habit of saying "dude" cuz they get so mad here if they here you say it! haha oops! and i have bought 2 packs of mints already trying to not chew gum! haha but they say "exact obedience brings blessings" haha

My companion is Hermana Beyler and she is from a small town in Idaho! She was a cheerleader at her high school! but guess what??? she had 18 people in her graduating class?!?!? crazy huh? like i had more then that in my prom group! haha anyways she is super nice! Me and her are a lot alike! she is kinda quiet and i like that because sometimes the hermanas NEVER stop talking haha anyways she thinks it's so weird that we don't have a riding lawn mower! haha and one day we got really bored and calculated it out and I have more people on my street then she does in her WHOLE town! hahahahahahahhahaha so crazy! 

So there are 4 elders and 4 hermanas in my district! one of the elders is all the way from East Africa! he can speak 5 languages! which is awesome!! one is also from Virginia! the other two are just from utah! one of the hermanas went to Davis so we know A TON of the same people, so we get along way good! we're always talking to eachother and i really like her a lot! the other one is from Cali! She's kinda loud but i still love her:) 

Wednesday: my first day was crazy! the teachers only spoke espanol! sometimes when you answer a question wrong, you don't even get emarbassed cuz you have no idea what they are saying back to you! haha 

thursday: The second day was brutal! haha i could only think about home and i was super homesick! however, the blueberry muffin top cereal is SOOOO yummy!! so that got me through the day! haha it's the little things that get you through the MTC:) I also met my President he is from Texas and has a really thick accent!! he's so kind, he has Parkinsons disease so it's hard for him to walk and see! he is soooo awesome though and has the best stories for us!:)

Friday: hahahahahhahahahahahahahaah so we had an investigator, and i was trying to say "we want to bring you unto Christ" but instead i said "we want you to squeeze christ" hahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahhahahahah we laughed sooooo hard!! it was funny! my espanol is coming along and i can't believe how much i know from the first week!

Saturday: Our lesson with our investigator Jose went well! nothing too exciting.

Sunday: Probably one of the most spiritual experiences of my life!!!!!!! your never gonna believe this! you guys should look up Mary Edmunds! she is awesome! she's written a few books i think and has gone on like 4 missions! (if she can go on 4, i can go on 1) haha anyways she gave an awesome talk!! 

************you guys should also go watch the talked by David Bednar entitled "The characteristics of Christ" it will seriously change you life! So after we watched that all the sudden David A. Bednar walked in the room!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of the missionaries stood up and he gave us the opportunity to ask questions and he answered them! IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!! 

Monday: we played kick ball! so that was fun! haha we aren't supposed to keep score though so that's lame! haha i'm too competitive!:/

Tuesday: I sang in the choir! hahahahahahhahhahahahahahahahahhahah anyways we had a devotional that was SO good!!:) 

Wednesday: we just spoke espanol everyday! haha nothing new:)

wow!! i'm so sorry that this letter is sooo long! i just had SOOOOO much to tell you!! haha the MTC is such an awesome place! you can feel the spirit so much and i wish you could all be here to feel it with me!:) I'm starting to really really really love the MTC! like i love it so much!:) 

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE write me more!:) I love getting letters from you guys it really helps! I love you so much and am so grateful for you guys in my life!:) The church is true! be a missionary!

wow i am overwhelmed my all the love and support i have received over the past few days! it is amazing to know that i have grown up with such amazing examples!  and everyone in my ward has been such good examples in my life and so supportive! i have gotten so many sweet cards and gifts! My farewell was on mothers day so i know that it can be hectic BUT everyone still made it and i'm so blessed to have so many awesome people along the journey with me. everyone feel free to write me. in fact PLEASE do. my addresses are in the "contact" tab i'm not sure i really know what i'm getting myself into but i'm SOO excited to go serve the Lord and the people of the Mexico Guadalajara East mission. i know that this gospel is true and i love the happiness it brings me in my everyday life. thanks again to all the examples in my life. your the greatest.

a week ago today my life changed

i am blessed to be surrounded with such amazing people (most left before we took the pic^^)

One of my friend's (currently serving in Romania) brother is in the way sick band called New City Skyline (check them out here, i promise you, you will not be disappointed) well they opened for a band called the Royal Concept and an even more famous band called Switchfoot. Yeah Switchfoot is the band that was in the movie A Walk to Remember. It was seriously one of the coolest concerts i've ever been to in my entire life! All three bands were so rad!! you should go check em out cuz they are awesome! There is something about skinny jeans and a man rocking out that is just so dang sexy to me! haha trust me you will want to witness it. Wanna know something cool?? Someone in the crowd gave the lead singer in Switchfoot a blue book hahaha either a Book of Mormon or a Bible we debated the whole night and still can't decide! Regardless, I thought that, that was way cool! Only in Utah though! haha Wanna know something even cooler???.................

I'm going through the temple TOMORROW!! i have been waiting for my whole life for this even and i'm finally getting to do it TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!! I'm grateful for the opportunity i have to go through. I know that it will positively change my future and i couldn't be more excited for it!!!

This weekend was full of CRAZINESS! i got to go visit my old roommates from Dixie. i somehow forgot what it was like to be in college! can i just tell you that i don't miss the school aspect but my roommates is a total different story! I MISSED THEM SO MUCH! 

I've become best friends with all these people. Even though we all have WAY different personalities and fight just like any dysfunctional family. (alright lets be honest we fight way more then most) haha don't worry Nate one day i will pluck my eyebrows! i wouldn't change it for the world, and i love them more than life in itself! XOXO

Hiking Rock Climbing

(Yup that's pretty much the hike uphill, the arrow is pointing to the flag if you can even see it! Oh and if you're wondering it's easier sliding down on your butt on the way down then actually walking. It's way to sketchy to walk down cuz if you slip your gone off the edge. Trust me)

(^^ if you make it to the top you can write your name and a message. The messages were so inspiring you guys should go read them because they will definitely give you an outlook on life! The hike is Deuel Creek/Flag Rock in Centerville. And the notebook is in the geocasche box cemented in the rock. DO IT)

I went on theee sickest hike this morning! It was seriously straight up a rock cliff! haha trust me all the work pays of when you get to the top!!! The view was AMAZING! If you're looking to go on an awesome hike do this one:)

Conference weekend is the best weekend

I love love love love conference! How blessed we are to listen to modern day prophets!! I love those brethren! I got the chance to go to the Saturday morning session, so awesome! Crazy to think that next conference I'll be listening to it in espanol! Cannot wait:)

Last Friday we all went on an adventure to SLC and rode our bikes. We started up at the top of the huge hill, and rode all the way down to Main street. The four of us discovered SO many cool places! We were planning on riding the train back up to our car. But we missed the last trax. haha so we were stuck at the bottom. Luckily, the guys were life savers and one of them stayed with the girls and the other one road his bike all the way back up. So if you're looking for an adventure go down to the city and ride bikes! You won't regret it:) Happy Friday everyone!!

Spring break 2k14

Day 1: California/boarding the ship

So, we left Saturday night at like 10ish at night. Yeah I know like the most unsafe thing in the world. We got to Cali and walked around on the beach and then got on the HUGE ship. Haha it was funny cuz when the workers asked me for my passport I gave them a copy of mine (mine's at the MTC). They were like "Why do you have a copy?" I explained to them that i was going on a mission and it was at the training center and they were SO confused. I guess I forgot that I wasn't in Utah anymore. haha made me laugh every time.

Day 2: Catalina Island

Right as we got on the island my camera died so I didn't capture very many pics. When we got there we were gonna snorkeling but the water was FA-reazing, so we deciding to rent bikes instead! I just love bikes so much:) We rode across the whole island, it was beautiful. 

Day 3: Ensenada Mexico

 ("In Ensenada we give our cows tequila, they happy cows") 

So it was crazy being in Mexico for the first time in my life. I can't believe that I'm gonna be living there for a whole year and a half. I don't think I quite understand what I'm getting myself into! haha just kidding. but it was so awesome. Right when I got on the bus i was overwhelmed because I knew that i needed to serve in Mexico. It was so fun to walk around and buy things in the little market place. It made me realize everything I have right now and it definitely made me grateful for what I have. I ended up giving some of the people there some of my money because I knew that they needed it more then I did. (Obviously I won't be able to do that anymore.) I'm in freaking love with all the bracelets and bags that they sale. Oh, and I bought two tacos at this little place on the side of the road and they were probably the best tacos I've ever had. Sorry mom, I love your tacos too. haha but anyways Mexico was awesome and I'm so excited to speak spanish and have pesos:)

Day 4: A day at sea

The last day everyone just hung out on the ship as we cruised in the ocean. We just chilled with everyone. I met so many awesome people that are changing the freaking world. Plus the guys were off the charts hot! haha just kidding (but not really) 

Plus, I pretended that i was on the Titanic so that was pretty awesome. haha even though i missing the most important part, which is the beautiful man! Oh well, who needs boys anyways? haha just kiddin! The next day we all said our goodbyes and we headed back to Huntington beach and then to Las Vegas for the night. So that's that.

Spring Break 2k14 was unforgettable:)
