H to the A to the double P Y FRIDAY

(03/28/2014)

Last Friday we all went on an adventure to SLC and rode our bikes. We started up at the top of the huge hill, and rode all the way down to Main street. The four of us discovered SO many cool places! We were planning on riding the train back up to our car. But we missed the last trax. haha so we were stuck at the bottom. Luckily, the guys were life savers and one of them stayed with the girls and the other one road his bike all the way back up. So if you're looking for an adventure go down to the city and ride bikes! You won't regret it:) Happy Friday everyone!!

Spring break 2k14

(03/17/2014)

Day 1: California/boarding the ship

So, we left Saturday night at like 10ish at night. Yeah I know like the most unsafe thing in the world. We got to Cali and walked around on the beach and then got on the HUGE ship. Haha it was funny cuz when the workers asked me for my passport I gave them a copy of mine (mine's at the MTC). They were like "Why do you have a copy?" I explained to them that i was going on a mission and it was at the training center and they were SO confused. I guess I forgot that I wasn't in Utah anymore. haha made me laugh every time.

Day 2: Catalina Island

Right as we got on the island my camera died so I didn't capture very many pics. When we got there we were gonna snorkeling but the water was FA-reazing, so we deciding to rent bikes instead! I just love bikes so much:) We rode across the whole island, it was beautiful.

Day 3: Ensenada Mexico

("In Ensenada we give our cows tequila, they happy cows")

So it was crazy being in Mexico for the first time in my life. I can't believe that I'm gonna be living there for a whole year and a half. I don't think I quite understand what I'm getting myself into! haha just kidding. but it was so awesome. Right when I got on the bus i was overwhelmed because I knew that i needed to serve in Mexico. It was so fun to walk around and buy things in the little market place. It made me realize everything I have right now and it definitely made me grateful for what I have. I ended up giving some of the people there some of my money because I knew that they needed it more then I did. (Obviously I won't be able to do that anymore.) I'm in freaking love with all the bracelets and bags that they sale. Oh, and I bought two tacos at this little place on the side of the road and they were probably the best tacos I've ever had. Sorry mom, I love your tacos too. haha but anyways Mexico was awesome and I'm so excited to speak spanish and have pesos:)

Day 4: A day at sea

The last day everyone just hung out on the ship as we cruised in the ocean. We just chilled with everyone. I met so many awesome people that are changing the freaking world. Plus the guys were off the charts hot! haha just kidding (but not really)
Plus, I pretended that i was on the Titanic so that was pretty awesome. haha even though i missing the most important part, which is the beautiful man! Oh well, who needs boys anyways? haha just kiddin! The next day we all said our goodbyes and we headed back to Huntington beach and then to Las Vegas for the night. So that's that.

Spring Break 2k14 was unforgettable:)

L I F E

(03/01/14)

i started thinking today life is so weird. last summer was lucky enough to go on a senior trip with all my friends growing up. i remember when i got there the only thing that mattered to me was having a good time. that was my number one priority, i remember thinking how excited i was to move to college, i remember that honestly my the only thing i questioned was if i trusted to leave my rental bike unattended while i ran to go grab something in the beach house. i don't think that i realized what was really happening. i was on this trip because i WAS growing up. we were celebrating our accomplishments in high school. i remember walking with my friend on the beach while the cold ocean hit our feet. i thought i had my life all figured out. i was gonna go to school and work on my education, make friends date a few guys, get married. can i just tell you how wrong i was. yeah i did work a little at school and maybe dated a few guys but my mission was never something that i actually planned on doing. yeah it was in my head but it was never an actual plan. well things don't really goes as planned. at all. in fact i am a totally different person then i was yesterday. like what the freak who am i? haha i always find myself asking that. not gonna lie sometimes it's scary not knowing what to do. people come and go into your life for a reason. it's a lot easier said then done (if that makes sense) because you really don't know what the reason is now. but in the long run there is always a reason. i don't wanna grow up, i really don't wanna grow up. i wish i could be 19 for the rest of my life. the more i get older the more complicated life gets. i feel emotions i have never felt or even thought i could feel for that matter. but i can't stop time. and to tell you the truth i don't think i would even if i had the chance. i'm excited to see my plan, i'm excited to learn new things and feel even more NEW emotions. Henry B. Eyring said "No one is destined to fail." life it hard but you will always succeed if you learn a lesson. So there's my little rant on life. haha sometimes you just gotta have a little pep talk with yourself- that was mine for the week.

Grateful: (adjective) Feeling or showing an appreciation of kindness

(02/21/2014)

So i had a life changing experience after the heat game, and i have been debating whether or not to write about it because of the how much this experience meant to me. But it's just too good of a story not to share. After the Heat basketball game me and my friends decided to go to the Pie in SLC. Some of my friends from Dixie came to visit and i was dying to see them. and let me tell you it was awesome seeing them. After we said all said our goodbyes and drive safely's we all piled into a car, we decided to head up to one of the kid's stepdad's house kinda by park city. (as if we didn't have a fun enough day already). well as we were driving you up a hill, we noticed that there was what looked like a car coming straight at us. we were on a hill so we couldn't really tell because of the funky lights as we got closer we realized THAT A CAR WAS COMING STRAIGHT AT US. right when i saw the car i said a quick prayer in my heart and soon got this peaceful feeling that we were all gonna be okay. the driver of my car, quickly turned the wheel (which we were lucky he didn't over rotate because if so we would have ended up in a ditch) the car coming straight at us missed us by a foot! ya know when you are driving on the freeway and car gets super close you and you feel a slight little breeze of the car passing you? yeah we felt that. when we pulled over we all got our groundings and i called 911. i felt bad because i had no idea what road i was on. It was the weirdest thing ever, the car driving on the opposite side of the road kept going in a straight line, not swerving or anything. i know for a fact our Heavenly Father was watching over us. it was the closest to death i have ever been in my life. but probably one the most spiritual moments of my life as well. I will never forget the undeniable spirit i felt when i was thanking my Heavenly Father, that i was alive. There's more crazy elements of the story but they are just wayy to spiritual to share on the internet.

The Lord answers prayers in mysterious ways. This was an answer to everyone in the car, in one way or another. This sounds cheesy but that experience literally has changed my life. I know for a fact that i am alive because Heavenly Father was watching over 4 very blessed teenagers. i know we all have our own mission in this life and that ours is waiting to be fulfilled. life is precious, that's for sure. I am so thankful to have a Heavenly Father that listens and answers our prayers.

Whatta life

(02/12/2014)

(^^ Currently looking at LJ King baby. Um.... freaking out was an understatement hahaha)

(my brother was a little mad the Heat lost haha)

Last Saturday I went to the Jazz verse Heat game! Best fifty dollars of my life!!! Yeah fifty dollars for some of the worst seats in the house, some might call me crazy! But can i just tell you, it was SO worth it! Thank goodness for binoculars right? You have probably noticed I love the Heat (it's okay you can call me a bandwagon fan.) The game was crazy, me and my friend Ryan went to go get ice cream but ended up running back to our seats because we didn't want to miss the game. haha the whole game we were on our feet, literally on our feet. I wish that I could dunk like them, it was freaking awesome. Plus they drained three's like it was nobody's business. After the game we walked down to the court, haha I got yelled at for walking "too far" on the wood. haha I just wanted to touch the floor that D-Wade touched! haha somehow we got the bright idea to look for the players in their locker room haha Ryan was like "just pretend you know what you're doing and they'll let us in that door" haha they actually let us in. But, I guess we could only BS them for so long cuz we only got to jazz dancers locker room until one of the workers made us turn around. So unfortunately we never got to actually see any of the players face to face, but we got way close! Plus the adventure was soooo funny. So if you're ever looking for something fun to do get out go to a Jazz game, or if you're even luckier go to a Heat game. haha what a great night!:) #ballsohard

Turn down for what??

(02/01/2014)

So tonight started out really sucky. To the point were I was starting to regret actually getting ready. Me and a few of my friends were just sitting in my basement. Then we decided to drive around just to give us something to do. Well, we figured out that one of my friends locked his keys in his car. He lives like 30 minutes away from me, so we drove to his house and get his spare key. Since we were already in SLC we decided to drop by the Pie Hole to get some pizza. When we were walking to go in THEE craziest thing happened! A limo was parked on the side of the rode, my crazy friends were a head of me and started talking to the driver. Keep in mind that these guys always come out with the craziest ish that nobody ever believes! (Ryan that's you- haha) I knew what they were asking the driver, but I didn't think that he would actually say yes! The driver said that if we gave him a tip he'd drive us around!! Like are you serious dude? IS THIS REAL LIFE?? haha we're always up for an adventure so of course we jumped in! Let's just say that from that point on the party went crazy! We jammed out the whole entire time! Seriously, I could not stop smiling, I just couldn't! I'm still trying to convince myself that I just got out of a limo! Coolest thing I've done in along time! This is what life is about having a good time with the people you love. (So what i'm super cheezy)

(^^^ don't ask what we were doing, it was cool at the time)

So uhh that just happened! haha can i just tell you this weekend has been awesome! Plus, the Superbowl is tomorrow! The Superbowl is tomorrow, like the most exciting Sunday of the year (besides conference duh, hahahahhahaha sooo funny) Nut seriously who doesn't love the Superbowl? I know I do! As for now, i'm peacin out cuz I have church in 6 hours! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend as much as i did!

three people

(01/29/2014)

Guys i watched the best movie last night, it called "Pay it forward." It's pretty old so i'm sure you guys have heard of it but it's a tear jerker. Or maybe i'm just a baby- either way it's good. Anyways, it's based off the idea that if you help three people do something, those three people will go help another three people, and so on. I started thinking how awesome little acts of kindness (or big ones) really are. You don't have to wait for someone to do something kind for you. YOU can be the start of the chain reaction. So take a second and think of three people/strangers you can help and DO IT. Happy Wednesday!:)
